Fairy tales, folktales, myths, and other such stories have been a part of almost every culture since people began telling stories. They teach us lessons and encourage creativity for our imaginations to bloom. Fairy tales show how our culture has changed throughout time by how the storylines have changed. They shine a light in the minds of children to imagine new worlds. We have grown up with them in books, movies, and from our parents in the form of actual storytelling as the generations continue.

Imagining Literacy is thrilled that we created a collection for this imaginative generation of teachers, parents, storytellers, writers, and, of course, children. By promoting these stories, and stories like them, we will be encouraging the advancement and enjoyment of these tales throughout time.
